We are continually being asked what can be done with old, worn, and tattered American flags. The U.S. Flag Code states: โ€œThe flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.โ€

You are welcome to bring your flags to our Flag Retirement Ceremony, where they will be respectfully and properly retired in accordance with tradition.
